BALLER OF THE WEEK: Isaac Lin

I keep seeing his stuff all over and I can always tell it’s him because he has such a unique pattern made out of lines that looks like calligraphy or music notes to me.

The yellow wall piece was at the Philadelphia Museum of Art in the exhibition called Here and Now: Prints, Drawings, and Photographs by Ten Philadelphia Artists.

The two photos that are painted on the cement underpass were spotted on Columbia Street just down from Girard in Fishtown.

The last photo was stolen from Isaac’s flickr account:

(sorry dude)

I saw these drums that he painted at Art after 5 at the PMA. They belong to Chris Powell, the drummer from Man Man.

I like the idea that I keep seeing Isaac’s art all over Philadelphia and I know it’s by him all because of his line style and iconic pattern. Reminds me of my boy Keith Haring!
